Building future homes

Frank Haslam Milan (FHM) is working in partnership with Coast and Country Housing to carry out an £18 million new build scheme in Redcar.

Under the proposals, around 200 mixed tenure properties will be built for Coast and Country Housing on the Blaymoor/Burnmoor Estate in Redcar. The two year project, which is due to commence in January 2009, will see new housing built for sale, rent and shared ownership.

As part of our successful track record when it comes to working in housing and regeneration partnerships, Coast and Country Housing aims to build better quality affordable homes more cost effectively and efficiently.

Previous successful projects include a new build development in Greenock Road, Hartlepool - a partnership with North Star Housing. Gullane Grove was a £1 million project which saw the construction of six two-bedroom and four three-bedroom houses built for affordable rent. Started in August 2007 the project was completed in February 2008, completed in just 32 weeks well ahead of schedule.
