FHM is working on innovative solutions for new build housing, extra care homes and the retrofit of existing properties offering a total "one stop shop" provider for social and supported housing needs.

We recognise that the construction and use of homes has significant environmental impacts in terms of water use, waste generation and use of polluting materials. By designing and building more sustainable homes these impacts can be minimised.

The Code for Sustainable Homes has been developed as a national standard to guide industry design and build homes which minimise the use of energy and reduce harmful emissions such as carbon dioxide.

The Keepmoat Group was proud to be the first contractor in the country to produce a home to the Level 4 standard. We are currently delivering level 6 homes which is the highest standard achievable, which incorporates the zero carbon energy efficiency standards.

Our Code portfolio offers buildable, realistic solutions that maximise government initiatives and finance solutions, providing both homeowners and occupiers with simple, easy to use systems. We work with our clients to ensure we tailor the most effective solution to their specific needs without compromising quality and ensuring value for money.

With over 25% of the UK's Co2 emissions coming from existing housing stock, FHM have pioneered retrofit solutions to reduce carbon and energy consumption. With retrofit schemes ranging from the insulation of 'Hard to Treat' homes, right through to the installation of low and zero carbon technologies, FHM have a solution for all properties working to all budgets.
